After they wait for a long time the enemy finally comes. Henry starts fighting visously and with alot of anger. He does not know what is going on he just keeps on firing and reloading. One of his comrades starts to laugh. Henry realizes that he is laughing because the enemy has retreated and he was shooting at nothing. The lieutenant tells Henry that if he had 10,000 wildcats like Henry he would win the battle in a week. Henry feels like he fell asleep and did not even know what he was doing while the battle was going on, then when he woke up he had become a knight. The soldiers are very happy and comment about how many men the enemies lost in the battle.
I think this is only going to make Henry more cocky, now that everyone thinks he fought so fiercly in battle.
How does Henry fight so good now when just the day before he ran with fear?
