The soldiers have their first battle after walking for miles. They all stoped to take a break and then Henry was woken up by the tall soldier and the battle began. Henry does not want to be fighting the government forced him and he really wants to go home now. At the end of the chapter the loud soldier tells Henry he doesn't think he is going to make it out of battle and asks him to give some letters to his family.
I thought that Henry wanted to go into battle, but in this chapter i found out that he was forced to go it was not of his own will.
Why does the loud soldier think he is going to die?
